Welcome to Forest Edge, a peaceful countryside campsite just outside Sidmouth, Devon. Tucked among trees and open fields, it’s the perfect place to slow down, breathe fresh air, and reconnect with nature, whether you’re pitching a tent, parking your camper, or relaxing in one of our teepees.

We’ve recently taken over the site, that’s Theo, Jon and Kelly, and we’re in the middle of giving everything a fresh new life. We’re upgrading the facilities, including a full renovation of the showers and washing-up area, adding a new on-site sauna and cold plunge, and introducing luxury glamping pods for those who want a little more comfort from 2026 onwards.

You’ll find everything you need for a relaxing stay clean toilets and showers, fire pits available for hire, and plenty of space to unwind. Walk through the nearby woodlands, visit Sidmouth Beach just ten minutes away, or take a stroll to the Hare and Hounds pub for a proper countryside pint. We’re also close to the Donkey Sanctuary, local trails, and the beautiful East Devon countryside.
